At the London Eye & Retina Specialist Centre, we aim to provide transparent, easy-to-understand fees so you know what to expect before your visit.

Laser Vision Correction / LASIK Suitability Evaluation

This LVC evaluation is essential before considering laser vision correction to make sure that your eyes are suitable for which kind of laser and could take 1-1.5 hours.
Procedure Fee

This visit includes multiple eye tests, measurements, and pupil dilation. It will be difficult to read afterwards, and lights will be glaring, so please bring sunglasses- this dilation effect may last 2-4 hours*
*Some cases will require a stronger pupil dilation effect, which has a longer duration
Contact lens users:
Avoid soft lenses for 3-5 days or hard lenses for 2 weeks before the appointment.

If Laser Is Not Suitable:
ICL Assessment Option

If your eyes are found unsuitable for laser vision correction, You may convert the visit to an ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens) assessment.

(If you are already doing the laser suitability assessment, simply top up $110 on the same day for the ICL assessment.)

Corneal Cross-Linking (CXL)

Corneal Cross-Linking (CXL) may be recommended if you have thinner corneas or where additional corneal support is required.

When indicated, CXL can be performed together with TransPRK to help stabilise the corneal structure.

Our ICL fees are packaged based on refractive range (myopia and astigmatism levels).
Each package is all-inclusive, covering:

Eye Health Check & Screening Packages

Eye health checks help detect conditions early, even before symptoms appear. Screening needs may depend on age, medical history, and risk factors.

Pre-Laser Correction Screening

Before Your Visit

  • Bring sunglasses for comfort after pupil dilation.
  • Avoid wearing contact lenses for 3–5 days before assessment.
  • Allow at least 1–1.5 hours for your appointment.
  • Some visits, especially first-time consultations, may require additional time if pupil dilation or eye imaging is needed.

Tips for Your Visit to LERSC

You may expand the section below for a checklist of what to bring and how to prepare for your appointment.

Identification documents:
Singapore NRIC, Birth Certificate (if under 15), or Passport with Employment Pass / Work Permit / Dependent Pass.

Referral letter (if applicable):
If this is your first visit and you were referred by a GP or another specialist, please bring the letter.

Insurance details:
If using insurance, please bring your insurance card or policy information.
Some insurers require a referral from their designated GP for first-time specialist visits. Please check with your provider.

  • You may be asked to remove your contact lenses; it’s best to wear glasses on the day of your visit.
  • If you must wear lenses, please bring your lens case, solution, and glasses.
  • Sunglasses are helpful, especially if pupil dilation or bright-light testing is required.

 

  • If you have run out of medication before your scheduled date, please inform us before coming.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment for registration.
  • Patients who are more than 30 minutes late will have their appointment rescheduled.
  • Your first visit may take 2 to 3 hours, depending on the eye tests required.
  • You are advised not to drive to the clinic on the day of your appointment, as dilation and testing may blur your vision for several hours.
  • Please arrange for someone to accompany you or pick you up.
